I am a pediatric hematologist/oncologist, bioethicist, anthropologist, writer and medical educator (and also a parent, pianist, skier, climber and some other things). You can read more about me here.
I created this site to serve three purposes:
- To provide a home for the Upstate Bias Checklist and the Bias Checklist Collaborative, so that clinician-educators and others who are interested in adopting this tool can readily find resources and reach out to me with questions;
- To create a space to organize and share my writing; and
- To give me an extra incentive to do more informal writing (this blog!).
